This has been a wonderful year, full of so many great accomplishments for our show and also for me personally. We've been blessed to have been the subject of numerous articles and television pieces by both the local and international press. My personal story has been featured in the Las Vegas Review Journal, Las Vegas Sun, Los Angeles Times and soon in the internationally known Christian publication Guideposts for their March/April edition. Most recently, the Big Elvis Show has been filmed for the Fox 5 Las Vegas MORE show, and will be in a television special for the 75th birthday of Elvis on ABC's NIGHTLINE Jan. 8th.
My heartfelt thanks goes out to all of you, family, friends and fans.
You have supported my shows in Las Vegas for the past 12 years,
and specifically at Bill's Gamblin' Hall for the past 7 years. As we enter into our 8th year at this property that we call home, there have been
unprecedented crowds for our shows. As my weight loss has continued, my health has improved to the point that we are now able to take the show on the road a couple of times a year. As you all may know, this past August, we performed as the headline act for the International Lions Club Charity Event in Honolulu, Hawaii.
I'm most excited about going back into the recording studio this coming winter to record some popular cover tunes, not previously included on my other cds. A special surprise will be an original song I will perform as a duet, with vocals of my late mother, that she had recorded as a young singer in Nashville.
Finally, as a result of the support and encouragement of all of our fans, we are in the process of writing my first book, an inspirational and
autobiographical piece that I hope will enlighten and motivate everyone
who has obstacles, addictions, and seemingly insurmountable problems in their lives.
